Significantly reduced power consumption is achieved through the use of Copeland Scroll™ compressor technology, variable-speed fan motors, large-capacity condensing coils, and enhanced control logic. Compared to hermetically sealed piston units, end users can achieve over 20% annual energy savings.

Reliability 

  Combining the market-proven reliability of Copeland Scroll™ compressors with the enhanced CoreSense™ controller, unit reliability is substantially improved. Fault code alerts and reset functions provide information that accelerates and enhances system diagnostics. The CoreSense™ controller offers protections against overcurrent, high discharge temperature, incorrect rotation, compressor frequent starts, high-pressure shutdown, and low-pressure shutdown. In the event of liquid slugging, the integrated electronic module can also send an alarm to the operator to prevent major damage to the unit.
